RE:RE:Sprott files: decrease of 2.6 mil shares, 9 mil warrants

RE:RE:Sprott files: decrease of 2.6 mil shares, 9 mil warrantsI believe that these shares were sold in April to June, 2013, and were reported on the TSX.V daily insider trade listing.

This is the discussion we had back on June 17, 2014

Trade matching indicates that the 136,000 shares went through in eight trades (all Anonymous), and the indicated insider trades were 68.3 per cent of the TSX volume for that day.
On June 12, 2014, the TMX insider trades indicated that 52,000 BGM shares were bought as insider transactions, and 138,500 shares sold as insider transactions.
Trade matching indicates that the 52,000 shares were purchased as three BMO buys, and the 138,500 shares went through as 12 Anonymous trades, and the indicated insider trades were 17.2 per cent of buys and 46 per cent of the sells for TSX volume on that day.
On June 13, 2014, the TMX insider trades indicated that 33,500 BGM shares were sold for a gross of $13,400.
Trade matching indicates that the 33,500 shares went through in two trades (both Anonymous), and the indicated insider trades were 49 per cent of the TSX selling volume for that day.

Since The BigBago raised the matter of possible insider trading on June 3, 2014, as of yesterday Anonymous had sold 607,000 shares into the TSX market (49 per cent of the TSX selling volume).

That isn't quite the trading pattern I'd expect to see if there was a gushing pipeline of good news.

So, is it really the case that
  1. Zero tonnes of BL ore has been delivered to the QR mill?
  2. Zero tonnes of BL ore has been processed through the QR mill to confirm the recovery percentages and like operational parameters?  Assuming NO to 1 then it is pretty much a given that it is a NO to #2.
  3. Insider activitiy has been mostly on the sell side?  Although not  much volume, I still would have expected to see insider buying given the huge pump of good news that the BBoS and roller as always talking... perhaps the insiders don't read this form and are therefore not in the know like our good Roller and the BBoS (aka shart mister).

Any speculation on why ore transport between BL and QR hasn't be started? Is it because the stuff is so high grade there is absolutely no rush in starting until July?

Wjat os the thinking? Perhaps some kind long has called IR to get the full story and will share same here.... I'd call but I'm not sure of the reception I'd get if I said, "Yaponski here... ")"

" Insider activitiy has been mostly on the sell side?  Although not  much volume".

YP, my figures are for three days only, as the TMX daily report is only available on a historical (day-by-day) basis by way of custom order, and I don't have access to anyone who subscribes to it (the securities commissions do). However, the three-day totals are 308,000 in selling volume.
The BigBagO alerted us to possible insider selling on June 3, and June 3 and 4 were big-volume days for BGM (800,000+ shares).

The three-day (June 5, 12 and 13) accumulated percentage is 163.3 per cent of Anonymous volume. Averaging that over three days and it's 54.4 per cent of daily Anonymous volume.

Applying that 54.4 per cent to the June 3 and 4 anonymous volume and you get another 435,200 possible shares for those two days.

Apply that 54.4 per cent possible insider percentage to April to June sales and the numbers are impressive (if unproven):
April  54.4 per cent of 783,000 is 426,000 shares
May  54.4 per cent of 381,500 is 208,000  shares
June 54.4 per cent of 649,500 is 353,000  shares

Multiply the three-month totals by 35 cents and a not-inconsiderable total of $470,000 comes up. While few have 10-cent shares left, anyone looking at the share price tanking down to a dime is way ahead if flogging at 35.

We'll just have to wait for the BCSC to step in, as the TMX figures don't agree with Sedi...which shows no insider transactions in June (or in May or April, either).

Very interesting.

A naive interpretation would be that uncle eric sold shares in advance of getting paid in shares. Net position stays the same and he got his cash. Very clever.
