silver nanoparticles in lithium-vanadium-posphate batteries

silver nanoparticles in lithium-vanadium-posphate batteries
Doing research of vanadium batteries used in renewable energy I found a potential new use of silver in lithium-vanadium-phosphate batteries. According to the press release dated January 2015 listed in the link below, adding silver to the cathode enhances the flow of electricity in this type of batteries.

https://phys.org/news/2015-01-compact-batteries-spontaneous-silver-matrix.html

The source appears to be legit. It is coming from a US Dept of Energy Lab funded lab.

In light of yesterday's announcement of Apple-First Solar investment in a solar energy farm and Tesla's soon-to-be announced batteries for storage of solar energy in residential use, this new application of silver in "green technology" could be transformational for silver.
