The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objectives.

Thanks, Deadcow. I think my decision is strategic in that I'm still almost down 50%. If I'm ever to recover my investment, less make a profit, I need to get my average cost lower. I might make one more purchase, but that will be it. Frankly, this is a gamble as the selling makes no sense, unless the seller knows more than us or just doesn't give a damn how much they lose. I also don't understand the lack of insider buying, and management's silence surrounding the stock hitting a new low. IMO, management should defend the company/stock, and state there are no material issues that are impacting the company. Just my 2 cents, and I sure hope the stock doesn't drop that low. LOL
