IF and only IF it were to happen, IMO it would be IMO because they have very deep pockets and own 25% of Syncrude already and run the shop. I can't see Suncor doing it because it would cost them way too much money and the obligation to spend lots of dough running Syncrude. Currently, COS is valued at $7.7 BILLION which would equate to around $16/share. I wouldn't take less then $20+ for it.
