RE:LacGotta love the lithium hype though , North America alone produced almost 20 million automobiles in 2015 , EVs .
China produced less than 80 thousand , looks like a long way to go.
Although I'm still positive on LAC in the near term , EVs ingeneral will take another 15-20 years to become mainstream.
I think grid energy storage systems will be a bigger boon to the lithium industry than EVs will be , at least for the next 15 years.
Have you noticed gas prices in North America are the lowest in many years , deisel is costing way more than gasoline , because the oil industry knows EVs will never be used in the heavy trucking or rail industries , so they are keeping the price of Diesel up .
The price of gasoline is lower because they are trying to keep the general population from investing in EVs , in the long run , this manuver will fail though , but for the next few years , it will work to their advantage.
Big oil is desperate right now , and will do what it takes to keep EVs off the road.
