This isn't some kid off the street (which would worry me a lot), The new CFO previously held the position of Controller for the company according to the news release today. His experience before Blackbird appears to be with some respectable players which is also comforting to know.
For me, from a management perspective, I see it as a good sign. One that not only have they attracted decent personnel, but have the wherewithal to promote people accordingly and allow them to grow with the company. I think they could have gone out and grabbed someone with much more experience, but I can appreciate the good things that promoting from within (people who understand and buy into your vision) can provide for an organization.
