RE:RE:February 18-TradingI think part of the plan here with TD's trading is to make investors nervous. If anyone does contact IIROC, they might question what appears as these endless crosses of TD to TD. If this is short boxing, which means sellng to yourself or to a "box" of colluding traders, to influence the share price it is illegal and IIROC really likes to catch people doing this. It was mentioned that someone must have millions of shares to dump without concern, but this technique lets you manipulate a stock with a relatively small number of shares as you are constantly buying what you sell so you can turn around and sell them again.
Today is another example of TD playing games. The last trade is possibly an example of a short box trade, although the regulators are the only ones who will know for sure. I'm still not concerned about the silence as it is either indicative of a deal in the works (which makes the most sense) or some other surprise, which could be negative or positive.
IIROC is the only recourse small investors or "dust mites" have and in this case it might be time to start using it as someone is definitely up to something.
