OpportunityThe investment community is speaking loud and clear. The reaction to the dog and pony promotions presented to brokers in Calgary this week resulted in further declines in the stock. Word on the street is that the company story has good potential, however, one rather large stumbling block. The stumbling block being Bernie. The investment bankers and the brokers don't want to deal with Bernie. Unless there are changes at the highest level of this management, the company will continue on it's current path of struggle. It seems to me that if Bernie was a smart as he thinks he is, he would realize the problem and pass the torch on to Renato. Renato seems to have respect in the financial community. If Bernie is to ever cash in on his 1.5 million shares, then he has to do what is right for the company. He has taken this thing as far as he can, given his abilities. Now, for the good of ALL shareholders, including himself, he must step down. I believe that he knows this, however has great difficulty in addmitting it. This theory hold true based on fact. The fact remains that compensation for a start-up company can not be draining cash-flow to the tune of a lavish $10K per month. It should be based on options. At this pace, he will run the well dry.
Bernie, if you expect to cash in on your shares, then you have to anti-up to reality and see the Big Picture. Do what you know is right, and watch this thing go. You will have more money than you could possibly imagine. Step down and let the rest of us make some money too, otherwise, you will kill what you have created.
