HIGHBANK RECEIVES FIRST COMMITMENT TO PURCHASE AGGREGATE FROM PORTLAND CANAL SWAMP POINT NORTH DEPOSIT
Vancouver, B.C. – March 19, 2012 - Highbank Resources Ltd. (TSX.V –HBK), (the “Company”) has received its first commitment from West Fraser Concrete Ltd. to purchase 100,000 tonnes of
aggregate from its Portland Canal Swamp Point North deposit. West Fraser Concrete operates the only cement plant in Prince Rupert, B.C. The product is f.o.b. Ridley Island in the Port of Prince Rupert.

Management continues to identify and develop additional aggregate customers and expects to
announce further contracts in the very near future.

President Jake Bottay states, “We are very pleased with this first commitment to purchase
agreement, spearheaded by our Vice President of Aggregate Operations – Stan Spletzer. We are actively moving forward on our permitting approval process and anticipate shipping our first orders in the 2nd half of 2012.”
