RE:Logical conclusion for Albany metallurgical.Bob, imo, the test samples for the lithium-ion battery market came from the pilot plant activities. Since all this work is experimental in nature, it probably takes a while to get back the lab reports from all the interested parties (especially the commercial ones). Also, I wouldn't expect Zenyatta to send out any samples from the new process until the flow sheet has been finalized.
Finally, look at the September, December and February press releases.
September - Produced samples of high purity graphite material for market evaluation & testing by more than 20 end users.
December - No mention of samples or market evaluation; A technically feasible & distinctive process flow sheet was developed and work continues to fully optimize it to meet customer expectations on purity.
February - Many of these organizations were provided a small amount of purified graphite material produced at SGS Canada Inc. (‘SGS’) Lakefield site during the development of a process flow sheet for the Albany graphite deposit pursuant to a preliminary economic assessment (‘PEA’) which is currently being completed.
The samples produced at SGS are experimental in nature and may differ slightly from batch to batch and may also differ from the final product in the future.
Note the phrase "may also differ from the final product in the future". This could be a reference to the changing nature of the flow sheet. i.e. the samples were produced as per flow sheet 1.xx but now we have moved on to flow sheet 2.xx.
