1-is there a takeover premium in the current SP?

2-if there is and no takeover materializes in the short term, will the premium disappear?

there is obviosuly a takeover premium because COS  fell hard and rebounded quickly, which suggests to me the buyers are expecting a deal sooner rather than later.

but how much I don't really know.

can COS go to 9?  for sure it can and it can also go to 12 in the short term.

your guess is as good as mine.

but if COS goes to 9, I will buy some for long term investment for sure.

oil prices can't stay this low for more than 12 months unless the world is going into major recessions and with central banks involvement, I can't see that happenning, not without a major effort to prevent it.

but these things take time, oil prices will recover slowly and not until h2-15.
