RE:RE:Buyout...

RE:RE:Buyout...I see you are a glass half empty guy. So permit me to play Devil's advocate. After all, whats Yin without Yang....

You think the unsolicited offer is so low the BOD doesn't know what to do with it. How about tell the bidder to go get stuffed! That would be my response if an insulting offer crossed my desk. So I think management would probably do the same thing. They certainly wouldn't have needed First Energy Capital to advise them on a schitty offer would they?

Now the glass half full version. The offer isn't a stinker at all. It is something reasonable and worthy of serious consideration. Perhaps the offer is good enough to consider throwing in the towel.

Granted, the stock sold off today. Investors do not like uncertainty so don't expect everybody to have nerves of steel. It was a bit disappointing to see the share price sell off after holding its own for most of the morning. All in all, I think after the weekend bantering on IV & SH, we certainly expected the bottom to fall out, which it didn't. I'm sure you'll agree it could have been much worse. Hardly the bloodbath some were anticipating.

Finally, only a few weeks ago Mart shares traded much lower in the mid-forties. Try not to get too bumed out over todays sell off. Investors did expect the share price to fall on large volume and that is exactly what occurred. Tomorrow is another day. Eventually First Energy will have to advise Mart   which will lead to a news release. With any luck it will be this week. I'm sure management understands the urgency.
