You miss the point. Sprotts gold and precious metals fund has an annualized return of 0 since inception in 2004. His cloned class fund since 2011 has an annual return of -24%. Meanwhile, Eric sprott himself is a billionaire. As the price of precious metals go, so go the fortunes of his investors. Meanwhile, he does pretty well off the enormous fees he charges to tap his brilliance. Their investment in manitou is not unlike a home builder buying hundreds of acres of farm land and sitting on it until it can be developed. If it happens great. If not it's another big write down. I own some shares so I hope things go as you do. However, the fact that these guys also have shares isn't an endorsement on the company. Someone has to provide seed money and this is their playground. If AU goes back to $1900 you'll here a lot more from sprott. Until then enjoy the half penny moves and days mtu doesn't trade at all.
