Putting our heads together Aronr, you ask:
"What I've understood is that what matters there is that there are multiple, stacked reefs (even if slanted/dipping), and we haven't yet seen too many of those yet in the Beatons Creek area."
Agreed. We've seen no reefs confirmed. We've seen some PROJECTED reef systems, that terminate at ground level but no confirmation yet that these slope downward and are lengthy. The "REEF" part at this point in time is just conjecture. That's why the deep drill hole (assays announced next week) is so important. If it can show a 20 meter band of 8 to 10 gpt material somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 meters deep, to match the results of the first deep drill hole, then we might have a wits lookalike with long, rich, extended reefs. A substantial resource, over a large strikelength with a (wits average) of 8 gpt would be ideal. If there is no resource at depth, in the 8gpt range, then it's back to square one. Doesn't mean it isn't there, it just means we didn't find it with this hole.
The wits reefs are VERY deep. A reef at 500 meters would take a lot of money to get to. The, at surface, open pit mining will help a little, but not a lot. I'm not sure where Quinton will get the rest of the cash to dig that deep, even with an 8 gpt assay.
The more we can talk together, the better all of our understanding will be,
