Putting aside any differences I may have with DEH1 my question regarding the posting of brokerage house positions is a valid one.  I don't see how this particular issue is being labelled a private directive.

I am sure if I was to post level II quotes throughout the day someone would raise the question as to what purpose it is providing.  On the other hand if I was psoting a level II quote and pointing out that a large wall was being setup at a particular price by a large bid or ask then a conclusion could be drawn that someone is trying to support the price at those levels.

In the same respect I will agree that house positions can tell you something in specific situations when large movements are made or you are watching trades from a particular broker that may be involved in an underwriting of a private financing of the stock.  I can give you many scenarios where information can be gleaned from house positions.  In those situations I would state the relevance of what I am seeing and how I interpret that in relation to the stock being traded.  But to post house positions daily without conclusions is of no value unless you condone flooding the board with useless analytics.

In this case I am asking DEH1 to draw his conclusions from the house positions he is posting, or you if you want to defend this daily activity.
