They have a SIGNIFICANT presence in the Fort Saskatechewan area - a NATO acquisition would make perfect sense to have a rail option, and additional storage - that comes with NATO and the efficiencies that come with thier current midstream operations.
....ok - this just went from interesting to VERY interesting to me. Judge for yourself.

Have a look at this.

An Oil Terminal in the neighbourhood would fit nicely with their North American operations.
The important point is that although there are headwinds (it would help if the Railroads could keep the trains on the tracks) Oil by Rail is far from dead and NATO is a Valuable Asset.
As Always; Do Your Own Due Diligence; It's Your Money !!
PS; Cenovous (T.CVE) is committed to shipping “Bitumen” by rail as part of their long term plans. They began receiving the first of their 825 specialised (heated) rail cars in Q4. They also recently announced a $1.5b bought deal. There was nothing in the NR to suggest that they were interested in NATO but it would make sense….
Wouldn't it make sense that the raised funds is for the expansion of the Plains Midstream Ft. Sask facility (in which they state includes the "construction of a 60 car per day propane loading rail terminal")? NATO wouldn't factor in the expansion since it's located about 20 km away. As much as I would love to hear NATO has been sold to Plains Midstream, it just seems to make more sense that the funds is to pay down debt and to complete the expansion of their Ft. Sask facility. I hope I'm wrong though.
