The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objectives.

Deadcow and Perdi, an offer is certainly not out of the question. Mart Resources, producing in Nigeria just got a lowball offer from Midwestern. That will open the table for other bidders. Tis the season to accumulate some quality low priced gems like MMT and PTA. Value will be rewarded eventually. And, with reserve report supporting our contentions that we have a vastly underpriced stock here, I like our chances of getting an offer. The strange trading here is almost exactly what I have been encountering on Mart. If you go back and look at Investor Village message board for Mart you will see same type posts as here, specifically about last second trades at bid or below. Astounding. Exactly what we have been seeing here, painting of the tape. T
