RE:My thought on Graphite

RE:My thought on GraphiteYou're right - there is a massive supply/demand imbalance. Syrah locked in an offtake for 80,000 tpa with a group in China. That was disappointing because the China shutdown was supposed to free up 90,000 tpa. Syrah does not have an FS and they plan to be operational in 2016. I'm not convinced this is feasible at this point, it seems too fast, but they have a legally-binding off-take...

With EGZ, we have a good FS. I really don't think it was much of an improvement over the PEA and still there is the elephant of supply in the room (53 tpa for a 400 tpa industry). Of the other companies with FS', (Northern and Focus), none have secured off-takes or financing. I believe this is why there was no response to our FS. We aren't the first, the others were also good, but no mines were financed and no off-takes were signed.

There are other variables that are concerning such as Madagascar's politics and the issues of a dirt road in a rainy climate. We also have a management team that loves writing shares, I've seen 150M written in the last 2 years. These are issues that will hit our share price. Last thing I'll add is market cap. At 35.5M, we are below some of our competitors in the 50M range, but not by much. This is where advanced graphite juniors are sitting. We'll need an off-take or financing before our share price will truly move to the next level.
