Decimal should be one to the right - RIGHT!

Decimal should be one to the right - RIGHT! Dreams Vs Facts… A comparison. Let’s see… let's pick RSI vs. MTO?

Sugar – rots teeth and gold fixes (at least it use to) them.

RSI… management not so bad, some updates recently.  Gives a decent dividend (on 50k it’s pretty good at seven percent and last year they gave a special one). Very few shares outstanding and never go to market unless it will lead to a profit. Many pension funds have shares in it. Buy it on the dips and just keep it until something out of the ordinary happens. Good profit over three years. There are many stocks that are better than RSI (Rogers Sugar), but this is just to show you.

MTO… Management that does not give a hoot about anything but themselves and needs some fresh entrepreneur types.  To many shares out. Not a chance for a dividend for many reasons. No buybacks… Just dilution. No facts… just dreams. Only loses over the past three years (gave this up a while back, there would have been more loses …just ask those who held).

In the end if you are long a stock you must look at three things.

1. How good do they treat you as a shareholder? Do they personally own more stock than you do? Do they like what they see when they look at a 3yr chart?
2. Do they do what they say and do things like buy back stock and avoid going to market once in operation while keeping timelines and promises and forgiving the shareholder (an example would be taking a pay cut or firing whoever screwed up).
3. When you look at year end statements year after year are they positive? Do they even have a plan to look after you as a shareholder? Is the resource finite?

This was the only stock I ever owned that had great initial promise, but over time was a big let down. However, they are always pleased to announce it. IOW... there are far better places to put your money.
