TommyJunior mining analyst Vince Marciano [Stateside] retunes after a nearly two month hiatus and says he'll be back to making videos on the junior resource sector full time starting Monday. Stateside is going to focus on TSXV companies, not those listed on the CSE Exchange (not sure why?). He shared a few market thoughts and companies of interest in Yesterday's video. Oil will be $70 by the end of the year, Stateside believes, so he's scaled into a couple of junior oil plays, Rooster Energy #COQ being one of them. Rooster is a play on oil and gas and on plugging and abandoning uneconomic wells; it's a new company, majority owned by its CEO, and the shares are down over 90% in the last six months. Do your own due diligence, he told subscribers to his Youtube channel. Stateside discussed the state of the junior mining stector, nothing that the dearth in financing activity means there is less exploration news for him to cover. He commented on relentless institutional selling from Canaccord early in the downturn, and now merchant bank Pinetree, as preventing juniors from rallying. There have been few discoveries and area plays in recent years to recruit retail investors back to the sector he says. Greed will replace fear in the markets in time (been 3-4 years already) or on discovery. Stateside's top gold junior for 2015 is Visible Gold #VGD . The Quebec gold explorer was funded by two mining investors, Rob McEwen and Ned Goodman, of considerable success and durability. The company started a drill program last week and Stateside is optimistic. statesideEven though hope is not a good investment strategy, I'm hoping #VGD hits and we get an area play developing that would be the first in gold since the Yukon in 2010. I count at least 5 or 6 jr's who picked up claims along rt 167 since the high grade gold boulder announcements several months ago.

TommyHere's a quick recap of Stateside's Feb 10 Report: Red Pine Ex #rpx drills 30 meters at 3+ g/t au. Drilling near historical holes. Good results but expected. Don't get too excited yet. 8-15 hole program will start tomorrow. Columbus Gold #cgt good infill results trickling in, Nordgold fitting the bill. Not going to move the stock but might be able to add 1 to 2,000,000 ounces, Vince says. Visible Gold #vgd odd press release announcing completion of 10% of drill program. Why release it? Because a lot of eyes are on the stock, Vince says. "In my mind this is the one play that could jumpstart the junior sector... We need a discovery hole and an area play to jumpstart the sector."
