RE:RE:COS Production and WTIMalx1
I agree the macro/micro factors affecting oil supply and demand are what I watch as well. Beyond those events I track the SCO price and production results.
The guidance the company provides is very helpful. I recognize guidance has been adjusted a lot and typically downward in recents years. A lot of that work was prepared at Syncrude and the owners agreed with it. So it's not simply COS. I am very glad to hear that Syncrude and it's owners have taken a hard look at costs and making substantial sustainable reductions. Imagine much lower costs, higher production and improving oil prices, I believe those days are coming.
Lastly I believe Syncrude is going to regain its stature as a premier operating company generating lots of cash flow for its owners and providing valuable careers for generations to come.
