Syncrude is a great Canadian Institution

Syncrude is a great Canadian InstitutionSyncrude is a pioneer in developing the mining sands to oil. Syncrude managed to secure Canada energy demand and demonstrating the viability of the business and technology.

Yes the company has been hammered by high cost production which is unacceptable. There are many reasons for this high cost but mainly the big exit of employee retiring in the last 10 years and hence the transition to different management style and the training of new emploee. I believe 80% of the company original employee retired in the past 10 years.
The cost should also be managed properly and efficiently, no exuces. Syncrude can't control the price of oil but all they can do is control the cost and that prove again and again over the years that is essential to survive and grow not only in the oil industry but for all industries and even for any family budget.
Will COS share price go back to its high numbers, you can bet every dollary you have on it. This i not any company this is Syncrude the canadian giant, go find out how many people graduate and benefited from Syncrude existence and you'll be amazed. COS was $53/share several years ago, those who are accumulating now are going to be rewarded. Forget the shorts and all the noises around the dividend and the survival of the company.
