RE:Brent Cook

RE:Brent CookShagHarbour, My personal experiences with Brent Cook have always been positive.  You are correct in that he is not a technology guy but a geology guy but he also has a huge network of people he is in contact with who are technology guys and who do have a nose for sound and profitable investments.  Paul Van Eeden is someone in Brent Cooks network and it is Paul Van Eeeden who informed Brent Cook of Synodon.  If you didn't know "Exploration Insights" that Brent Cook owns was initially owned by Paul Van Eeden and Brent completed redid it and geared it toward what it is today.  Brent Cook did not sell Synodon because it showed weakness, it was a whole lot weaker when he bought it, financially and contractually speaking.  Brent Cook bases his investments on personal criteria and if he feels the company he is invested in has deviated from his original reasons for investing he will sell the stock regardless if it is good or not.  That is how he invests and it has worked for him,   Brent Cook also said that he would buy back into Synodon when the reasons for him selling were rectified.  Brent Cook also makes it clear to his subscribers that his newsletter is not recommending to people what they should buy but it is simply a newsletter letting people know what he is doing with his own money and why.
