RE:Fernandes & Jung the new Balsillie and Lazaridis boys....

RE:Fernandes & Jung the new Balsillie and Lazaridis boys....I don't think the two are comparable.  Different products, different industries.  I also think Balsillie was arrogant, as opposed to confident, and failed to innovate like his competitors did.

Fernandes has a forward looking vision.  As it stands, Avigilon is positioned to have a dominant ecosystem in the security surveillance sector that would be similar to the (dare I say) Apple ecosystem in their respective industries.

According to BNN interview with AF, Avigilon only possses 2% of the market at the moment.  There is so much room for growth in a high growth industry (that wasn't the case with blackberry).  I think Avigilon's ability to keep profit margins so high is a huge plus (and an oversight).  And with their royalty system that will only grow, it will help keep profit margins up as they grow.

I think I sort of went off topic.  Anyhow, I'm long and bullish.  I don't think it has hit a bottom yet but when I think it has, I will be buying.
