Disagree, Obama does support the oil industry in the US. He has open up prestige areas to drill. This action has his base peeved so to make them happy he vetoed the Canadian keystone project. Obama is going to buy oil from the US companies. The US import a lot because they are big exporters of oil and oil by-products eg. 3-1 oil, lubricants, and so on. We are going to hurt a bit but its going to hurt Russia and Iran more with these lower oil prices which OPEC goal. Lets not forget Chinas appetite for oil getting dirt cheap from Russia. US is still a superpower military but China is going to be there in 10-15 years. Then in ten years then you will see $300 barrel of oil. What will cause oil to go up is serious terrorist destruction of oil production facilities. JMO
