Antibe Therapeutics Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The Company is leveraging its hydrogen sulfide (H2S) platform to develop therapies to target inflammation arising from a range of medical conditions. The Company’s pipeline includes assets that seek to overcome the gastrointestinal ulcers and bleeding associated with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Its lead drug, otenaproxesul, is in clinical development as an alternative to opioids and NSAIDs for acute pain. Its second pipeline drug, ATB-352, is being developed for a specialized pain indication. The Company also focuses on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Otenaproxesul combines a moiety that releases hydrogen sulfide with naproxen, a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug. ATB-352 is an H2S-releasing derivative of ketoprofen, a potent NSAID commonly prescribed for acute pain. Its IBD candidates are being designed to maintain the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetic properties of ATB-429.

RE:Worth every penny!!As I've said previously, I don't own any Antibe stock and I am certainly not being paid or compensated in any way to make posts of any type on this, or any other board. I just enjoy talking about finance and stock. Why Antibe? I pass by their offices frequently and wondered what they did so I looked them up. It would be nice to see a small Canadian pharmaceutical firm make it to the big time.

I mentioned in a previous post that I found it interesting, and perhaps somewhat telling, that the moment someone posts anything other than unbridled enthusiasm they're immediatly accused of being a "basher" or somehow trying to manipulate the stock. I find it accusations towards me funny since I've said several times that i absolutely agree that the stock has a lot potential but I have tempered that with the fact that they still need to run these additional validation studies before beginning Phase 2 trials.
