RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Card access and video integration announcement Never said the vendor/ installers won’t use them. But installers don’t always get to decide what goes in. A consultant may dictate the platform or an existing client has so many card access panels in place and everything is working just fine and therefore no need to rip out and replace. Plus, any serious installer should only recommend and install a product that fits their customer. You do not sell a entry level software platform to a multinational. At least not if you want to be in business for long. So, does Avigilon want to sell cameras or be a one stop shop. If they want to do it all, they have a lot of serious competition and they are cutting their cameras out of being integrated by the large card access manufactures for reasons of self preservation.
