book value of LRERoss Healy, Chairman at Strategic Analysis Corporation & Associate, MacNicol & Associates Asset Management, said book value on LRE was just under $5 / share two days ago on BNN. Here is a link: https://www.bnn.ca/Video/player.aspx?vid=571965
I imagine book value right now must not be at all set in stone given market fluctuations and the unforeseeable commodity prices. I am bullish here, but treading carefully on LRE. Still, though, I've bought three times in the last two days at 0.67.
I am not adept enough to figure it out for myself. I am setting myself up to be put down by goldenegg, especially since I've been so mean to him lately. (I'm trying to lay off you, mr. egg, so don't expect me to be rude to you again. I don't like being nasty all the time, so, well, sorry for my excessively hard comments toward you). At any rate, whoever newbie1234 is, there is one reference towards an answer for you. The leverage is what is keeping people away, I guess. I just believe the CEO when he says they have it under control.
I was really into Athabasca until I read that they are hoping in a year to bring up production to 12,000 boe a year. LRE has been in the 31,000 -36,000 boe range of energy production already, I think. I just think we are so undervalued at this price that it is difficult to stay away from what some think is a risky play with LRE. I can't see us getting back to five dollars a share, but I can sure as hell see a dollar in the near future. Anyway, I hope absolutely everyone with an interest in Long Run will get paid for their astute play in this company.
