Sure you would....... haven't you ever built a position over a few days, or even one day!  A lot of people don't buy all at once.  I've had 3-4 buys same stock one day(HVU, HND, HOU, JNUG, HNU.....ect).  If you payed attention to what I actually said, most of my post was regarding the contango futures roll on VXX....so thanks for comming out.
