RE:RE:A frick'n outrageYeah, I think a good set of lawyers could have a good case to make against the Province.  No way the Alberta government would do this to a major player, but this isn't a very good reflection on how the province does business.  It doesn't help my confidence in investing in any Albertan juniors.

I think that the issue is that if AOS challenges this, the amount of time it could take to resolve could be years away, with legal fees and exec compensation eating away...and knowing the way lawyers and governments work, we'd wait 2-3 more years for the government to settle with AOS somewhere halfway.  

I really think that AOS' best option to is to put a value on the company and see if anyone is interested in taking them out.  AOS is not going to produce a barrel of oil in my lifetime.  WIth Clearwater, they had a chance...but now, not likely.
