Long Term PictureMy actual fear is the long term 10 year picture.
The U.S. is supposed to hit peak oil production sometime around 2025. At this time, Canada's biggest oil consumer will be buying less than ever, and they'll be a competitor on the world's oil stage. Add in that oil demand in China will likely be very small (with China's declining growth and with China buying mostly Russian oil). Then add in the effect of growing global interest in electric cars.
As economically tough as it is for Alberta right now, it's going to be alot tougher in about 10 years. People won't be buying cars if they're worried about their jobs.
I'm looking for a bottom to buy ACQ but I'm not looking to hold it for the very long term... maybe just one or two years.
