DMSO is the delivery agent in Pennsaid and if you google it you will see it has been used for years as an anti inflammatory well documented from science. I believe Pennsaid is the only presciption medication approved by the FDA containing it. The only draw back we face, is that  some of the patients in the test may reduce inflammation and pain just by rest ( and unreported ice packs at home) over a few weeks period , having the same results as Pennsaid patients so here we could see the placebo lotion results matching Penn 2 patients on the graph. It all depends on how supervised and monitored this group has on those patients. And with our track record ....??? Did they do the research before selecting  patients to help our chances to acheive positive results for the test, ? Did they select patients suffering muscle strains from sport injuries, or patients with chronic painful inflammatory conditions ?
