3DGO! Review

3DGO! Review
For those of you who haven't seen 3DGO! yet first hand I will give you my quick review after watching Big Hero 6 last night...

First off, the picture quality was phenomenal. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between watching a 3D bluray or watching 3DGO!. There were a couple brief moments, in really dark fast action scenes, where there seemed to be a slight "blocking" of the pixels, if that's the right term. But it was only for a few moments, and was really minor and not distracting. The other 99.9% of the movie looked incredible - sharp high definition lines, bright colors, smooth scrolling, etc. Compared to the other limited 3D content LG has on their store, and the other 3D I've seen streamed online (side-by-side, of course), the picture quality on 3DGO! was so much better you can't even compare them.

I don't know if it's simply the Sensio Hi-Fi vs. side-by-side, or if there are other factors that make 3DGO!'s picture better vs. what I've seen before, but I can certainly tell you the picture quality is top notch. And as one of the other posters said the other day, the app itself is very slick. Very easy to register the TV, and very easy to navigate the application to find what you want.

I think the $0.99 promo offer is a great idea. Even if I wasn't aware of 3DGO! the $0.99 offer would have been enough for me to "give it a shot". And now that I have I can see the family wanting to rent more movies over the coming weeks.
