makes sense for Apple and AT&T, Verizon to partner with YFIAll these are Fortune 500s.  Apple has their 'airport' products which is a router enabling connections of multiple Apple devices (ie. Mac, iPhone, iPad) which needs a maximized wifi connection BUT this still needs to connect to a modem and network which would be your AT&Ts or Verizons.  If Apple kicks this off, the bidding war is on with the telco giants
