RE:RE:not much upside$1.6 would be really low. Premiums are much higher than 25% these days. But I agree, unclear whether there would be any offer. I did not see XOM and other majors actively opening their purse. If anything, many of the majors (e.g. Shell) got rid of a lot of their shale assets.

Clearly market liked the latest update. Stock is up nicely over the last five days. 

That being said, IF one wants to invest in oil and gas, PPY seems to be the better deal right now...falling like a stone despite a fantastic reserve report and no debt. Quite surprising to see such a drop. I do feel that the big money is getting anxious with NG players of late...end of an ugly winter and not much of a dent in NG storage numbers, with lots of wells waiting to be completed....

The NG environment is not bullish. Buy only if you intend to hold for a long time. Good prices but I do not expect a strong rebound in this environment.
