You aren't buying/selling shares in an Ecuadorian company. You are buying/selling shares of a Canadian company that has a number of Ecuadorian subsidiaries.

The way it reads to me is this is a non-factor unless somebody takes out Dynasty and its subsidiaries, which would trigger a capital gains event for the company. The company would be liable to pay some of the proceeds of that sale to the Ecuadorian government.
