I doubt that the earnings report will be that great or enlighten us very much but, sometimes price or value itself is the catalyst. Also, today you have oil up likely due to the fact that lower 48 States production was equal to last week according to the EIA: took a long time to happen! Then you have a strong selloff in techs and biotechs, so maybe some sector rotation: remember 2000?
