Will P has been around a long time and I believe is well respected and usually unbiased, but yes, he can be a little sarcastic at times when he thinks the bosses of companies he covers are a little bit embellishing their comments or are getting ahead of themselves.  I think its his being a nice guy format instead of directly calling them out, after all he has to keep a good open form of communication with them, but yes, you are probably reading him right.
