RE:A matter of time

RE:A matter of timeI  agree and would go the further step of presuming (I hope correctly) that bids will be denominated in $US. Sorry to be ignorant but were the HAT bids $US or $C? It looks like $C/lb from the Quakes timeline. The exchange rate is significantly different now., enough to make a big difference.
You're also conservative, at $10/lb. Or do you mean $US? I know we've all been through the debates over shallow/high/grade premium.  I hope the low opex will figure prominently in offers, and that the bigger suitors have as good an idea as the PEA consultants on the added value of PLS.

This has been a long tough wait, and everyone's pretty stressed.  I put half my life's savings into FIS/FCU and want as much as anyone to see the max reward for our having taken the risk with Ross and Dev.  They made the right call when they kept PLS out of the sale to DML, and we made the right call in sticking with them.

I hope the bidding's over by end August.  Cash, not shares, ideally $US in the $4.00 range for QuadR
