Cost benefit analysis...

Cost benefit analysis...
While upfront rehab  costs seem exorbitant, a  cost benefit analysis clearly demonstrates that  there is much to be said for society/governments investing in treatment vs incarceration. Feel free to add your comments.

Non treatment...no support
1. Crime to support habits...lives/families impacted
2.  Cost of treating HIV Hepatitis....hospital emergency/stays
3.  Cost of policing...judicial system / annual cost of incarceration $25,000/inmate...neverending cycle of recidivism...
4.  Loss of contributing member of society because of felony convictions resulting in welfare/unemployment/permanent disabilty claims....and desperation which feeds into another cycle of working the Drug Industry.

Many more impacts can be added to the list and government is realizing that the first step of legalization must be followed up with treatment support which is slowly beginning to take a foothold.

My only concern for Convalo at this point is that major money is getting into the game and prices for buyouts are quickly rising..besides that I think that management has the financial backing to make this grow.  We can only hope they execute their plan effectively.  Gl everyone
