some clarification
Lots of agressive talk about OR and their ability to generate success.  However, outside of Canadian Malartic (so pre Osisko) what kind of success have the principles had in finding and advancing significant projects?  I did the old google thing but can't find much. I'm aware of a couple of sizable blunders (Cliffton Star and Brett Resources) but there must be some kind of positive track record before Malartic, given that the founders are geologists/engineers and been around for several decades.  I think it's fair to say that Canadian Malartic would not be a go at the present gold price and disinterested market, so I see their sucess as being in the right place and the right time with a visable asset (nothng wrong with that).  Not so much that they are loaded with incredible exploration savy.  Maybe someone can post some history so I can stand corrected.  Do they have what it takes to pull all this expansion off?  I wonder.
