RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Looks like...I don't know how the stars are supposed to be used. Most likely as a rating of the post, not the person who is writing it. Someone rating the person instead of the content is not fair, but it is an expression of opinion. Everyone should be able to express their opinion and if you have something to say about that, do it. With stars or your own opinion. If possible without making it personal, like this one guy does. So if you are asking me if I am ok with opinions, I am. I cannot know how he/she rates so I cannot comment on the number of stars. But since Ekim mostly posts about facts, a 1 star is, like you said, probably about him and not the post. I still consider him expressing his opinion better this way than attacking Ekim outright with his posts. With that I am not ok. People might have noticed that we don't like attacks on posters, so they found a different way of doing it.
Like you said, very few people use the rating system. Making it irrelevant does not help. My question (which started this whole whatever) was why not ask more people to express their opinion by rating, making the one person irrelevant that way, instead of making the whole system irrelevant? 2 wrongs don't make a right, after all.
Petty comments about people or name calling is just making this board just like the rest. If you only want to hear about the greatness of PGD or its leaders, it's ok. Start a thread, let people say so, but I kind of have a feeling about that already.
