RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:It sold for $120 millionI've taken a step back from 'What Canada is famous for'.

That colour chart that PGD put together clearly shows that Chidliak is so far different then the Ekati pipes.

Basically the current Ekati pipes are on average 50% BROWN and the Jay pipe is a horrific 85 to 90% Brown.

Chidliak is distinctly different then Ekati.

That colour chart was clearly shown (IMO) to show that the $US213/carat may be woefully too low on CH-6.

Yes, we can put the Canadian stamp on the diamonds to disassociate them from blood diamonds and put the little polar bear on them or something unique to Chidliak...that is marketing.

To date, Canadian diamonds means Lac De Gras Diamonds. That is changing in a hurry. Renard will be producing some alternate diamonds and then eventually Chidliak will produce some diamonds as well.

On the size front...because Canada hasn't produced the 50 Carat+ diamonds, the bread and butter is in the 1 to 10 carat range...which is why I would love to see a fancy at Chidliak this year.

LONG...PGD
