RE:Long Term Technicals hitYou could use all kinds of moving averages. Some are crossed, some are still not. Either way, I would call an uptrend established if you see higher highs and higher lows, or at least the moving averages in the right order.and all pointing up What I mean about that is short term (like 20day) above the medium (50-ish) and that over the long term (200) moving average. PGD is nowhere close to any sign of established uptrend. It has been showing signs of a change for a while, that's why I said that bears should be very cautious, but bulls don't have a lot to celebrate yet. Soon the profit taking will be strong enoug to test the downtrend, that's when the picture will be clearer. Unless the company has something up their sleeves shorter term, the best bulls can hope for a while is a trading range.
