Visual Search Competition? CortexicaI believe someone mentioned a company called "Cortexica Vision Systems". They have a page on facebook as does Slyce. I see that last Nov11th they Signed up Macy's(after Macy's tested Cortexica's visual search software for 3 Months). Cortexica is a UK based company and on January 7th, 2015 opened up a new office in New York in the SoHo Fashion district. Cortexica also has fashion companies "Very.co.uk" and "Zalando" as clients. Cortexica is 30% owned by "Imperial Innovations" a British Technology Commercialisation Company. This company appears to be in start up phase similar to Slyce. Cortexica's facebook page articles are a lot more informative in regards to what is happening in the visual search space. I see that Slyce even has Bruce Campbell's latest BNN appearance on their Web Site! GLTA
