GB Minerals Ltd. has won an order in the Supreme Court of British Columbia against the company's former president, Glenn Laing, ordering him to return confidential information. The company claimed that Mr. Laing wrongfully retained employee files and project data, among other things, after he resigned in February, 2013. GB Minerals said it asked him to return the information, but he refused.

The order was handed down on March 30, 2015, by Supreme Court Justice Miriam Gropper. It instructs Mr. Laing and his company, Silverbridge Capital Inc., to transfer all data belonging to GB Minerals. He must then erase all records of that information that he has. The judge entered the order without hearing from Mr. Laing, who has yet to file a response to the case.
