Coincidence?

Coincidence?

So Parex PXT just did a bought deal financing for 119m to fund exploration and 'opportunistic acquisitions'. I'm most likely not aware of all of the targets, but the two companies that come to mind are PTA and CNE.

CNE's market cap $417m~ish.

PTA's market cap is 113m~ish.

If I was a betting man (and I am) I'd put my money on a PTA acquisition over CNE. Either way, I've been very critical of this stock and it's share structure. The one thing I have been positive on is their relationship with PXT.

A 30% premium would put the enterprise price at 146m ish or just around 16c per share. Should be an interesting couple of weeks!
