Anchor
AnchorBeing a tax fiscalist by formation, I have seen in my years of working the term anchor tenant. Basically, it means a big name that will take a lease in a building for a big part of the space and will attract other smaller tenants to rent also in the same premises. Over here, for VID, an anchor contract means also a big name that will assure VID with a great exposure and will bring other smaller companies to sign partnerships with VID. So Google is a big name. so is Facebook and Twitter. The basic thinking is for smaller companies: if it is good for them it should be good for me.
