RE:April 13-15, 2015 World Copper Conference: RMC is #1Bendystock-- here is my response to your questions/comments. We as investors in RMC or any other company cannot control general market conditons or macro-economic events. We can only do our homework and invest in those companies in the junior respource sector which have projects which are likely to become mines. In the case of RMC, we have at least one project, Timok, that not only will become a mine, it ultimately may prove to be another Grasburg.
RMC is significantly more de-risked and has significantly more value now than it did 10 months ago when it was trading at $7. This fact, IMO, cannot possibly be lost on the Tier 1 producers, royalty companies, mid-tier producers and Freeport. It would not surprise me if one of these entities made an offer for RMC in the $8 range in the next month. Nor would it surprise me if the offer didn't come for another 4 to 6 months. It would surprise me if RMC is not acquired by year end.
I for one believe that the prophyry discovery at Timok will ultimately prove out to be more significant than the already defined high grade massive sulphide mineralization resource. The multi-decades cash flow that production will throw off from the porphyry is something that would-be acquirors can only dream of. Timok truly is a once or a twice in a century discovery.
