RCF and FACT

RCF and FACTThis is a couple of years old but is good for those who are new to EPO.  This is from the RCF Annual report from 2014 I think.

"At the initiative of Department of Fertilizers, a consortium of Indian Fertilizer entities have decided to explore and pursue opportunity to tieup for long term offtake of MOP from Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri. Prithaviraj Chavan receiving a cheque of Rs. Four crore at the hands of Shri. R.G.Rajan, CMD, RCF, in presence of Shri. Gautam Sen,Director(Finance) and other dignitaries for establishing a Chair in Institute of Chemical Technology (Erstwhile UDCT)for Research & Development activities. Association with ICT for R&D Activities junior potash mining projects under development in Canada. In line with same, RCF on behalf of the Indian fertilizer entities is in talks with Encanto Potash for development of an agreement for long term supply of Potash. Since India does not have any source of potash, an essential nutrient, and has to totally depend on imports, such an endeavor shall be beneficial to the Country."
